Moving can be so stressful. There seems like there is so much to do. You have to pack, load, unpack, unload, then organize. There are back and forth trips, things going on, things being switched over, etc. Moving is just not fun at all! Having movers would be nothing short of lovely, don't you agree?

I moved today into a new apartment. The good part of it is it is in the same complex. I just transferred to a 2 bedroom, so my son will have his own room. It is getting to that point. I needed more room, and felt squeezed in and unorganized. My new apartment is so much better! There is a bigger patio, hard wood floors except for the bedrooms, bigger kitchen with more storage space, a huge closet, my son having his own room and closet etc. I love it so much.

We moved for 2 days, and it was a bit sudden, so I had nothing packed. Everything was unorganized, and it made it that much more difficult. My friends that helped me were sweet though. They put everything back together when it was in the new apt. That made my life a lot easier. Moving was obviously no fun though, not to mention it was about 100 degrees outside. Being really hot always makes it worse. I felt so dirty and was so sweaty! I probably did not smell too great either. You are welcome for the 411.

I suggest planning on when you are moving, be prepared. Take one whole day just to get everything packed and organized and ready to go, so that when you move it's all ready. Make sure you have boxes, box tape, newspapers, trash bags, and a dolly. Also, make sure you call and have everything switched over at least a week in advance, so there are no issues, like cable/internet/phone line, and utilities. Also, make sure you have movers ready to come, or friends that give you their word and you know they will be there ready to help you! Having a check list always works as well. Just think "easy". How can you make this easier? You can, trust me. Being organized always makes life easier.

If you do choose to go with movers, I would have everything ready for them so it is ready to go and they can do their thing. Also, try to find a moving company where they will assemble things as well. These sites may help you find a good moving company in your area..
